Security outside were freindly and very polite. In one case inside greeted past bartenders with a grinning and fast service. Went to see Mike Stud with my daughter concluding dark and the security guards were taking bottles out of the trash and sniffing them to meet if patrons were drinking alee of fourth dimension. I've never seen this at any show I've ever attended. My daughter and two of the friends she was with were told they could not get into evidence even though they are of historic period considering they smelled liquor in the water canteen that she threw away prior to entering the show. I would of questioned this simply I was there to driblet them off and saw information technology for myself, None were acting out of character or in any way to question their behavior. Nosotros asked for our money dorsum and they refused to refund it. Nosotros then went to a pizza place close past and a crowd of people came in and were talking nearly how they were thrown out of the concert due to fire hazard and that they had sold too many tickets. This is stealing to me. Should have never of sold more than tickets than occupancy rate and this must be the reason they were taking bottles out of the trash and so they could deny entry. What a scam. When taking my girl hither several years ago to run into Cody Simpson when she was younger I retrieve in that location e'er being issues with security and the entry to this identify. Floor is all ages and balcony and floor bar area are 21+. This is an old theater with a lot of music history, you lot're non going to a posh venue. That's not what this place is. Dec 2017 • Friends Went with a grouping of people to come across The Marcus Male monarch Band. Cold night and didn't stand outside long at all. Once within I found the venue to be the perfect place to meet an up and coming band! Nosotros stood right by the phase. The acoustics were perfect (no ear ringing the adjacent twenty-four hours), drinks were adequately priced, and everyone working the venue was super friendly! Parking inexpensive and nice expanse.
The event staff was visibly nowadays along the lines and communicated honestly with us regarding when doors would open and were approachable and friendly.
I watched a few young girls try to cut the line and the security staff immediately kicked them out of line and sent them to the back.
As the line started moving, the lineup was adjusted to allow for better period and it was all seamless and orderly. I take been to MANY shows and I was thoroughly impressed with how this was handled.
We flowed into the venue and the merch table was the kickoff terminate at the front of house then we could immediately purchase merch in our size earlier beingness sold out (as sometimes happens if waiting until the terminate).
It was of course packed merely did not appear to be oversold as some venues do and so although it was tight being full general admission, you could nevertheless breathe.
